Mr. B.'s Beautiful Yard and Flower Gardens

Sorry, I've not posted anything recently. I've just been very busy!

I've decided to start, by going back a bit in time, to a month ago, and my visit to Casablanca...

I'm a "chronological bug" when it comes to my pictures...don't know why, I guess it's because to me they tell a story..and it's best if a story is told in it's proper order..

While in Casablanca we went to Rabat for a day to visit Mehdi's parents.

It was good to spend the day with them.

One of the highlights was wandering leisurly through Mr. B's

BREATHTAKING GARDEN.....

It had rained all morning, and the showers only enhanced the beauty and color of these marvalous grounds.

I don't know the name of all the trees, plants and flowers..I just know there is a wonderful variety and each and every one as lovely as its neighbor.

So come with me on a peaceful stroll and see
for yourselves.

These lovely little orange fruits are called" nèfles" and they grow on a nèflier.

Their pulp is soft with a refreshing , kind of sharp taste.

They're eaten raw...I myself love them.

Plus, they have the most amazing , orangy-golden brown, jewel like pits.

My Wikipedia research says they're called "medlars" in English...

I'm sure you all recognise these wonderful citrus family fruits,

grapefruit...in French , pamplemousse!!

Aren't they wonderfully tempting!!!

Lavendar roses!!!

A delicate bell shaped something..but I don't remember it's name!!

The luminosity and the colors after the rain...

The sun light filtering through the overhanging branches and onto the waiting fougères.
